The HOGS constitution has been changed at a General Meeting on 11 June 2011. The change is in Management by Committee no. 5.  It now reads - Retiring Committee members are eligible for re-election. No office bearer may hold the same position for more than four consecutive years  

This is a friendly reminder to anyone who has been a member of HOGS at any time over the last few years. Our membership year corresponds with the financial year, (July 1 to June 30), which means that fees are now due. more »

There is a special meeting scheduled for June 11th (our Kooragang field day) at 11.55am to vote on a resolution to change the constitution. more »

As part of the National Herbal Medicine Week, Figtree Community Garden at Wickham will be hosting "Herbs in the 'Burbs" on Sunday 19th September. HOGS are considering having a stall and ask if anyone would be interested in manning it for an hour or so, between 9am and 3pm. more »

From July 2010, HOGS will be purchasing Charlie Carp fish emulsion concentrate in bulk and selling it at very reduced rates to members at field days. All you need to do is bring along empty containers (one litre, two litre bottles, for instance). more »
