FIELD DAYS

Once a month join us to learn about growing vegetables & fruits, raising farm animals, and how to care for your soil. Meet the farmer, or tour a backyard growers garden. Make friends and exchange produce, ideas and smiles! Open to members and visitors.

About: 

Four Acre Farm is a small farm growing cut flowers, garlic and other produce. We grow outdoors, with the seasons, and we plant, tend, and harvest by hand.  You'll find us near the town of Dungog in the Hunter Valley, or attending the bi-monthly Slow Food Earth Market in Maitland. Our flowers are available at Lovey's IGA Dungog, or to order through the website and our garlic is available, when in season, at local markets.

1.00pm Tour: of the farm

3.00pm Afternoon Tea: Bring a plate  to share.

ABOUT FIELD DAYS

Field Days Field days are usually held on the 2nd Saturday of each month except January.

 

Lunch BYO.

What to bring: A folding chair, lunch, a mug, hat and sturdy shoes.

Wet Weather: Check our facebook field day event page or tune into 2NURFM 103.7 or 1233 ABC Local Radio for updates on the day.

 

Car Pooling: Head over to our facebook page and post in the field day event listing to offer or ask for a lift. Alternatively contact us via phone.
