MARCH FIELD DAY:
ASCELLA ORGANIC WINE

12.00pm Sunday March 10th:

203 Thompsons Rd, Milbrodale NSW

About:

Ascella's vineyard is one of the most isolated in the Hunter Region. It's also the largest organic vineyard in the Hunter Valley and one of the largest in Australia. Jeff and Barbara Brown are allowing us to visit their unique vineyard situated in the Broke Forwich wine growing area. We will tour the vineyard, hear about their organic practices, taste some of Ascella's award winning wines, and hopefully have the opportunity to pick some grapes (so bring along some containers). There will also be the opportunity to purchase wine.

Have a look at their website www.ascellawines.com.au/ to see this truly inspiring vineyard.

If you would like to car pool to attend this field day, please contact a committee member (0466 318 059).

The Thompsons Road (off Putty Road) is sealed but narrow.

Schedule:

12.00pm Lunch (optional) - BYO picnic

1.00pm Tour & wine sales - arrive early to register

Afternoon tea - Please bring a plate to share
