About Kawalang

Hosts Brynnie and Keith Goodwill have been at the property for 7 years. It is 100acres of beautiful bush and energy.

"We are very community-minded, have WWOOFers from all over, are keen for people coming to Kawalang to connect to the land, learn about living in harmony and sustainability…connect with themselves, the bush, the trees, wildlife, integrate their experience back into their day-to-day.

We grow food organically and run community events and workshops (including Share What’s Spare, Food and Conversation)"

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY

We acknowledge the tradition custodians of the lands of the Hunter region, the Awabakal, Worimi and Wonnarua peoples. We pay our respects to their elders past and present.

We acknowledge their deep contributions to sustainable agriculture and land stewardship. They were our first farmers and caretakers of country - the soils, rivers and seas.

We are gardeners, farmers, and first time producers of our own backyard fodder, who meet monthly to learn about living and growing sustainably in the Hunter Valley and surrounds.
